"Oh Hello Penis, Nice to See You Again"
The response to the book is that is an easy read that is entertaining and informative. That is exactly what I was going for. I'm getting a lot of people talking to me about Sugar is The Enemy, the chapter on the affects of sugar on our body. Many folks believe that it is the fat in their diet that makes them fat. Not necessarily, we definitely should limit our saturated fat to roughly 7% of our daily caloric intake, but exceeding that is not what is making us fat as a society. It is the over-consumption of refined sugar. There is no nutritional value to refined sugar and our bodies process them very quickly so we find ourselves hungry again, craving more refined sugar. It is a vicious cycle and it really has become an addiction, especially in the U.S.
